PLAN:

17H00 : COMPETITORS MEET AT ØYTUN (take-out) FOR LOADING BOATS & SHUTTLE.

17H15 : RACE RULES ON THE BUS RIDE.

17H30 : TEAM CAPTAIN MEETING & DRAWING OF START POSITIONS.

18H00 : MASS START

18H17 : FINISH AT FAUKSTAD SURF EDDY

18H30 : SURF SESSION

19H00 : PRIZEGIVING AY ØYTUN

RULES: 

- Race is from Harlaug Bridge to Faukstad river right of surf. 

- Teams consist of class three kayakers / raft guides. Maxi 7 persons per boat. 

- Each team bring their own first aid, wrap kit and a kayaker for safety.

- The team who draws number one choose starting position first and so on.

- Boats can be on the water, both sides of the river and upstream of the bridge.

- Guide holds boat and stands on land, dry feet. -

-  Paddlers can sit in the boat. 

- No paddles in the water last 5 seconds. 

- Group start.

- The "starter" stands on the bridge, visible for participants. -

- Starters arm go up 5 sec before start, goes down at GO!

- False start gives 15 sec penalty to total time. 

- All participate at own risk.

- If anyone have swimmers / flip help each other first priority. 

- Team captains are responsible for informing team paddlers the race rules. 

After the finish: Have a play in the surfs if it is up. Announcement of winners at the soccer field right after that.

NB : No parking in the road at Harlaug.
